Welcome to Rosella Park School
At Rosella Park, we are proud to provide a warm, inclusive and engaging learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. Our staff are deeply committed to ensuring every student feels safe, supported and successful, and we work closely with families to create strong, trusting partnerships.
Our school's work is underpinned by a combined Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) approach and the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM). Together, these frameworks shape how we teach, support and respond to student needs. They help us create predictable routines, strong relationships, and explicit teaching of social, emotional and behavioural skills. This year we have strengthened this work through a schoolwide PBL–BSEM teaching sequence that supports students to develop confidence, resilience and readiness for learning.
We are equally committed to the wellbeing of our staff. Our Staff Wellbeing Framework guides how we support our team through recognition, connection, shared values and professional learning. We know that when adults are well, connected and supported, students thrive — and this commitment sits at the heart of our school culture.
Our school values—Respect, Positive and Safe—guide every interaction at Rosella Park School.
- Respect is shown through kind communication, listening, cooperation and care for our environment.
- Positive means celebrating strengths, trying our best, using encouraging language and contributing to our community.
- Safe reflects our commitment to predictable routines, calm environments, safe body practices and supportive relationships.
These values are taught explicitly in classrooms, reinforced across the playground and embedded in our new outdoor learning precinct.
At Rosella Park School, every student's achievements matter. We celebrate growth of all kinds—academic, social, emotional and personal—and we work each day to create a place where our students can flourish.
We invite you to explore our website and discover the many ways we support our students to learn, grow and succeed.
